Drapes is a venture that brings to you all an exclusive range of handpainted, handblock, handembroidered and handpicked wearables and home linens. The venture is hosted by Divya (yes that’s me) who by profession happens to be an educationist however the passion for art and craft has always motivated me to pursue my passion into my professionand so here I go for it.

So the answer to why a hand painted over a mass printed is simply that its specially crafted solely for you as no two handpainted products are identical. So go ahead and get draped in a handpainted outfit right away.
About the curations
Being a fauji kid and fauji wife now offers me an opportunity to move around the country and curate the rich and diverse textile traditions. Drapes brings together handpicked wearables from across the country, each piece reflecting the unique heritage and craftmanship of its region- from the intricate madhubani prints of bihar to the elegant geecha silk of Jharkhand, the rustic charm of bagru and block prints of Rajasthan and more.
Authenticity and Affordability
Rooted in authenticity and affordability, my mission is to make traditional Indian textiles accessible to modern wordrobes, while supporting local artisans and preserving age old techniques.
